We believe safe blood saves lives. Blood Bank at MHCC is among one of the best blood banks in the city and is ISO-9001 certified. Blood is collected exclusively from nonprofessional donors. All the blood is screened for Hepatitis B and C, HIV, Syphilis, and Malaria. . Blood donation and collection are available around the clock. We have extensive supply units of packed red cells and platelets random concentrates.

The nursing personal copies it & writes it on requisition form or books & sends it to the pharmacy. The pharmacist compounds & dispenses according to usual labeling as a united dose or multiple dose system as desired by the hospital authority.
